My early and current experience was that of mental health services for about five years in an outpatient clinic in Paterson, NJ. I have experienced first hand interaction with a diverse population consisting of: low-income families, backgrounds, races, sexual orientation among adolescents, parents, and children that all encounter different types of behavioral health needs. I'm a bilingual individual who speaks Spanish fluently, as I came from Peru, my native country at a young age.
